Pickleball was created to be a fun, competitive, and highly social sport.  Since its inception, it has embodied an ethic of good sportsmanship that includes Respect, Fair Play, Sportsmanship, and Integrity in winning and losing.  The purpose of these guidelines is to encourage behaviours that reflect these values.

SAFETY FIRST

  • Wear proper athletic footwear on all courts.

  • Players are encouraged to wear eye protection.

  • Stop play immediately if a ball rolls onto your court.

  • Report injuries or hazards to a club volunteer or TPC Board of Directors.

COURT ACCESS & SCHEDULING

  • Pickleball Scheduler is used for signing up for sessions. Click here for Scheduler.

  • If you are unable to make a session after signing up, please remove your name on Scheduler.

  • During the indoor season, everyone must sign in and pay before playing the session.

  • Organized club playtime takes priority over drop-in play.

  • Players are only to attend scheduled sessions that match their DUPR rating.

  • If a session has not reached its max of 30 players. A member outside the level of the session may book a court on Scheduler.

  • When the courts are full, use the rotation system. Be courteous, take your turn sitting out, and avoid jumping the line.

APPROPRIATE SKILL-LEVEL

  • Players are to use their best DUPR of 2025 for determining session eligibility for the indoor season. The TPC will enforce this rule without exception.

  • Players whose DUPR rating falls outside the designated skill level for a session should not register for or participate in that session.

  • Players without a DUPR rating can not play in sessions starting at 3.0 or above.

GUESTS & VISITORS

  • Guests must follow all club rules.

  • Guests must sign a waiver before playing a session. Waivers are available here or at the session.
